All of us are touched by the sadness and frustration of cancer. It effects so many people either directly or via our network of friends. Some of us can afford to donate money to help with research or care but for others, they cannot afford to. There are many other ways of donating to help cancer patients, however. The following are some examples:

Provide transportation to family members who need to get to the hospital.

Bring food to a family in need, be they a friend or a neighbor

Take care of a child while their parents are away at the hospital

Volunteer to redo hospital rooms, waiting rooms, lockers, wheelchairs, gardens etc at your local hospital

Entertain patients while in the hospital with singing, dancing, magic tricks.. whatever your talent is
We all have something to give. Reach out, that is often the best gift.
